How To Use Tanning Wipes

Tanning wipes are a relatively new product that has only been around in the last few years.
One of the main advantages is avoiding the mess involved with applying self tanning products such as lotions and sprays.

Tanning wipes are effectively pre-treated towelettes coated in Dihydroxyacetone (also known as DHA) tanning lotion.

The process for applying tanning wipes is relatively straight forward and good results can be achieved evenby those with little experience of self tanning.

The first thing to do is to take a bath or shower, and use a scrub to exfoliate your skin. It is important to get rid of dry areas particularly on areas like the elbow as dry spots tend to absorb more self tanner and become darker than other parts of your body.

It is recommended to start at your feet, and carefully wipe the towelettes over your skin, making sure that every area has an even covering. You should then work your way up through the rest of the body and cover every area that is to be covered with the self tanner.

Following application, it is important to wash your hands since if you forget to do this your palms will turn orange. It is also advisable to scrub finger nails as self tanner can get trapped underneath them and turn them brown.

To get a darker best fake tan it is recommended to add further applications of tanning wipes with a lapse of about 24 hours in between applications.

Using tanning wipes should result in a sunless tan that lasts about a week. Moisturize with regular lotion in between applications will help your skin from drying out.

Some of the best self tanning wipes are available from L’oreal and Ambre Solaire.

Tanning wipes are for those that are inexperienced or careless and prone to errors in applying fake tanner. For those with a little bit of a better touch or know how, fake tan wipes should not really come into the equation. Its like an artist who does drawing. Good ones never have to use a rubber.
